Theresa Tompkins

Theresa Marie Tompkins of Pulaski, Tn passed away July 20th, 2020. She was born on July 19th, 1936 and was 84 years old. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She loved her dogs, camping and traveling. She also was an avid Braves fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 24th, 2020 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of Flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice Compassus, 830 Hatcher Lane, Columbia, TN 38401 or Giles County Animal Shelter, 380 Bennett Drive, Pulaski, TN 38478 She is preceded in death by her Parents Fern and Jess Thibodeau and Father Edward Nadeau, Husband Stanley Tompkins, Brother Roland Nadeau, Sister-in-law Pauline Nadeau, and Great-Grandson Owen Abernathy She is survived by her daughters, Iris (Leonard) Stacey of Goodspring, TN Joni (Dave) Rutherford of Coalport, PA Carol (Jim) Abernathy of Pulaski, TN Shelly (Steve) Goolsby of Pulaski, TN Son, Jim (Teresa) Tompkins of Athens, AL 11 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Brother, Robert Nadeau of Orlando, Florida Companion, Stan Sherman of Pulaski, TN 4 Nephews also survive.
