Loyd Forrest McCree, age 90, passed away on August 30, 2018. Loyd was born in Giles County, TN on June 10, 1928, worked at Genesco, retired manager of Richland Inn, and devoted member of the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald F. McCree and Rena Belle McCree. He is survived by his wife, of 66 years, Willa Mae McCree of Pulaski, TN, his son, Stanley McCree of Pulaski, TN, his grandchildren, Tabitha Davis and fiancé Jeffery Barnett of Pulaski, TN, Darren McCree of Pulaski, TN, his great grandchild, Christopher Davis of Pulaski, TN, his brother and sister-in-law, Elwood and Jean Cook of Pulaski, TN, his nieces and nephews, Brent and Lori Cook of Pulaski, TN, Joey and Regina Watrous of Pulaski, TN, Bill and Donna Horn of Pulaski, TN, Jimmy and Susan Locker of Minor Hill, TN, Wayne and Diane Page of McMinnville, TN, and great nieces and nephews, Seth Cook, Caleb Duncan, Christine Horn, John Horn, Lee Horn, Ryan Locker, and Tyler Locker. He was a loving man who blessed the lives of everyone he came in contact with. He loved fishing, camping, wood working, traveling, and spending time with his family. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Giles Memory Gardens.
