Mildred Garner

Mildred Marie Garner, age 85, passed away on Saturday May 2, 2020. She was born February 2, 1935 to the late Charles and Nina Shelton and was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ and loved roses. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Garner, and her sister, Chris Hooie. She is survived by her son, Ricky Garner, her sisters, Odell Glover, Maybelle Picket, Leona Rutherford, several of her nieces and nephews, and her special sisters, Dean Kincaid, and Orlean Smith. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Giles Memory Gardens.
