Mary Lowry

Mrs. Mary Theresa Lowry passed away Friday evening September 6th, 2019 at Adams Place in Murfreesboro, Tn. She was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and graduated from Murfreesboro Central High and Middle Tennessee State University. She received her Master's degree from the University of Tennessee. Mary was retired from University of Tennessee Extension Service after 34 years. Visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00pm Monday, September 9th, 2019 at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory Funeral Service will take place 11:00am Tuesday, September 10th, 2019, in the Chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Brandon Bass officiating. Burial will follow in Giles memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church c/o 931 Mill St. Pulaski, Tn or a charity of your choice. She was preceded in death by her parents Brannon and Helen Smith, her husband Ken Lowry and her brother Charles O. Smith. She is survived by her: Step-Son, Kent Lowry of Pulaski, Tn Step-Daughter, Diane Stafford of Florida Daughter in Law, Susan H. Lowry of Pulaski, Tn. Son in law, Danny Stafford of Killen, Al. Brother, Ralph and wife Annelle Smith of Murfreesboro, Tn Sister in Law, Martha Jo Smith of Murfreesboro, Tn Grandchildren, Anna Grace, Jacob Morris, and Heath Harwell Lowry, Aaron and Brian Stafford. Great-Grandchildren, Austen and Braden Stafford Sister in law, Sarah Goforth of Paris, Tn Several Nieces and Nephews and cousins also survive.
