Linda Lindsey

January 16, 1951 — July 2, 2018

Linda Susan Johnson Lindsey was the first born child on 1/16/51, to the parents of Mary Ann Johnson and George Kenneth Johnson. She became the older/protective sister to Ollie and Ken Johnson. They grew up hard working dairy farmers in the Minor Hill Community. Graduated in 1969 from Minor Hill School. Met the love of her life, Fred Lindsey, while attending Columbia State and graduated with a two year college degree. Married 10/30/1970, had Chris Lindsey in 1974 and Christie Lindsey in 1976. Worked for Giles County Hospital which changed to Hillside Hospital by the time of her retirement of 28 years. Linda Lindsey lived a full life with her friends and family. Trips to Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands were just a few of her travels. She also enjoyed the smaller things of riding back roads just to find old houses to explore. Loved trespassing and taking pictures of nature's beauty. She loved everything from reading a novel/painting and gardening to attending concerts, food and wine festivals and museums. She would go out of her way to provide for a stranger and rescue a stray animal. Linda Lindsey was a true cultured spirit with a hilarious sense of humor, a wild sense of adventure and never left a person without making them smile.
