James Redding Davis, Sr., age 82, died on Monday, January 28, 2019 in Pulaski, TN. He was born in Pulaski, TN, on May 14, 1936, a retired farmer, and preceded in death by his parents, George Edward and Mary Elizabeth Redding Davis, his wife, Ruth Ann Davis, his brother, Donald Davis, his sons, James Davis Jr. and Jimmy Britton, and his granddaughter, Sashia Britton. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Giles Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family to help with Funeral Expenses. Survivors include his sons, Stephen Davis and wife Patsy of the Conway Community and Jackie Britton and wife Sabine of Campbellsville, TN, his daughter, Mary Davis Brown of Conway Community, his sisters, Audrey Thurman of the Waco Community, Eris Ledford of Columbia, TN, Betty Reasonover of Pulaski, TN, and Juanita Hamby of Tarpley Shop, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
