F.R. Ables, Jr

F.R. Ables Jr., age 71, passed away on August 21, 2018. He was born in Elkton, TN on June 5, 1947 and he was a member of the Pulaski Elks Lodge # 1827. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Robert Ables Sr. and Delia Jones Ables, his brothers, Cleatus Ables, Charles Ables, Max Ables, and Clyde Ables, his sisters, Carolyn Deere and Pat Brumit, and his companion of 28 years, Glenda Cox. He is survived by his sisters, Audean Merrill of Louisville, KY, Barbara Jones of Minor Hill, and Betty Jo Brumfield of Clarksville, his special friends, Mike Chandler and Serita, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow at Giles Memory Gardens.
